Hey, girl!
The Girl Who Does Everything is a lifestyle blog about a little bit of everything and a whole lot of Jesus.
I am passionate about living my life to glorify God in everything that I do. I want to show girls and women that they were created for a special purpose and that they are made for more than the empty things in life. I started this blog just as a hobby to start off, but it eventually evolved into something more. I wanted this space to be a place that shows women of all ages that they can make a difference, they can make an impact, and that they matter. It doesn’t matter how many people you reach…it just matters that you reach someone.
I am 25-years-old and I am married to my best friend who just so happens to be the man of my dreams. We love serving the Lord together, watching Netflix, browsing any kind of bookstore, and going on little adventures every week.
Right after we married in January 2018, I moved to Oklahoma to be on staff at the church where my husband was already serving. We enjoyed our time there in the middle of the country doing what God called us to do. Less than a year later in September, God sent us for a loop and called us back to the Northeast, and we now live in Delaware, serving on staff at a church.
I always do my best to try to find joy in the simple and mundane things of my everyday life.
My husband is the assistant pastor at our church, working with the youth, music, and administration of our church. I love getting to help him plan youth events, mentor to our teens, and organize the church choir.
I am also an assistant teacher part time and I love it. I never thought God wanted me to be a teacher, but now I work in a public school after care program with elementary school students and I love seeing them grow!
Even though some weeks are crazy and tiring or they just don’t go as planned, I can always say that I love getting to do what God has called us to do every day. And, as you already know, I’m a blogger. I love writing, and I honestly hope to publish a book some day. Getting that dream out there on the internet will hopefully help me stay true to my word.
The reason this blog is called The Girl Who Does Everything is two-fold. Everyone has talents, but sometimes it seems as though those things that we do aren’t as important or as “cool” as things other people get to do. But I just named a few things that I do on a weekly basis that may not be the most exciting things to other people, but they are to me. I’m a believer, a pastor’s wife, a blogger, a teacher, an adventurer, and an aspiring writer. And I’m sure that if you made a list of all the things you do, too, that it would be totally different from mine, but equally important and amazing.
The second reason is that I want people to know that I strive to do everything I do for God’s glory. He created me, He gave me the desires to do these things, and He is equipping me to do them – the least I can do is glorify Him through all of what I do.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
-Colossians 3:23
