New Year’s Resolutions

I love the beginning of  a new year. I love the anticipation of what each new month holds. I love that January is my birth month and I will be yet another year older. And, yes, I know that feeling will eventually wear off once I turn thirty…but I’m in my twenties so I’m okay for now. I even laugh at the fact that for the first two months of they year I consistently write the previous year when writing the date. It triggers my perfectionist tendencies when I have to cross out the old date, but I eventually get used to the new date and write it correctly.

Personally, I think the best part of a new year is having a fresh new start to goal setting. While I do agree with those who don’t make resolutions because they say that I shouldn’t have to wait to make a change, I still like the feeling of starting something right at the beginning of the year. And my favorite thing about 2017 already is that January 1 is on a Sunday which is also the beginning of a week.

I know that you have probably already created some goals of your own, but if you are still needing a little inspiration or if you are just curious about what I have added to my list of goals for 2017, here is a list of what I have planned for 2017.
